These Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of serenalabs.io, the authenticated application at serenalabs.io/app (including the Free Tools simulator suite), and any related services (collectively, "Services") provided by Serena Labs ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Services or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance
You confirm you are at least 18 and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms on your own behalf or on behalf of the organization you represent. Acceptance is recorded when you sign up — through the explicit checkbox in the profile completion flow or, for invited users, by clicking the sign-in link in the email we send you.
2. Description of Services
The serenalabs.io website is informational and includes a contact form, a newsletter subscription, and published content.
The authenticated application at serenalabs.io/app provides:
- Free Tools — interactive business-case simulators (insurance channel & retention, hospital episode & leakage, digital health unit economics, pharma PSP ROI) that let you model scenarios, save them to your account, compare them, and export them as PDF/CSV. Outputs are estimates calibrated against publicly available peer-reviewed sources and industry research; they are decision-support, not advice.
- Account management at
/app/profile— edit your contact details, language preference, marketing preference, and exercise your right to delete your account.
Some Serena Labs products — most notably the Executive Health Companion (companion.serenalabs.io) — process clinical and wellness data under separate terms specific to that product.
We do not provide medical, legal, tax or financial advice. The simulators and any insight published on the site are general informational outputs and must not be treated as a substitute for professional advice.
3. Accounts and Authentication
Accounts are created in one of two ways:
- LinkedIn (default for self-serve signup): you authenticate through LinkedIn's OpenID Connect flow. We receive your verified email, name, profile picture and locale — see the Privacy Policy for the full list. You are responsible for keeping your LinkedIn account secure.
- Email invitation: an admin issues an invite by email and Supabase Auth sends you a one-time sign-in code. You are responsible for keeping your email inbox secure.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the profile information you provide. You may not impersonate another person or organization. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts used in violation of these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Services — text, graphics, logos, icons, images, simulator formulas and software — is the property of Serena Labs or its licensors. No copy, reproduction, modification, distribution or derivative work without prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial reading and use of the simulators with your own scenarios is permitted.
PDF and CSV exports of your saved scenarios are yours to share inside your organization or with advisors; you may not republish the underlying methodology as your own work.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Services unlawfully; interfere with their security or operation; scrape or automate access in a way that imposes undue burden; misrepresent your identity or affiliation; submit content you do not have the right to submit; transmit spam, malware, or content that infringes another party's rights.
6. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Simulator outputs are directional estimates; we do not warrant their fitness for any particular decision or transaction.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serena Labs and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity — arising from your use of the Services.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may link to or rely on third-party services (LinkedIn for authentication, Vercel for hosting, Supabase for data, Resend for email, PostHog for opt-in analytics). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices beyond our data-processing agreements with them. Your use of LinkedIn to sign in is also governed by LinkedIn's own terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts of Barcelona, Spain, save where mandatory law gives consumers the right to bring action in another forum.
11. Severability
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
